Client Center

You are already insured with us and something has changed — a new address, a new vehicle, a certificate somebody is waiting on. Start here. Every action below opens your client portal.

Sending a request is not the same as a change taking effect.

Every link on this page opens a request. A request is a message to our office. It is not, by itself, a change to your policy. Here is the difference.

  1. You send the request

Through the client portal, whenever it suits you. Nothing on your policy has moved yet.

  2. We take it to your insurance company

We ask for what you asked for, and we tell you what comes back — including if the answer is no, or if it changes what the policy costs.

  3. It counts when it is confirmed

Not when you hit send. Your coverage stays exactly as it is until Beacon Point or the insurance company confirms the change to you.

If a date matters — a closing, a vehicle you are collecting, a certificate a contractor needs this afternoon — call us at (816) 254-6100 rather than waiting on a reply.

Policy changes

Anything that changes what is written on a policy you already have.

Request a policy change

Change a coverage, a limit or a deductible on a policy you already hold. Tell us what you want changed and why, and we will come back with what the insurance company says about it.

Before you submit:

Submitting this request does not bind, modify, add, remove, or cancel insurance coverage. The requested change is not effective until confirmed by Beacon Point Insurance Group or the applicable insurance company.

Change your address

Moving, or already moved. Send the new address and the date you take possession. Where you live affects how a home or auto policy is rated, so this one rarely travels alone.

Before you submit:

Submitting this request does not bind, modify, add, remove, or cancel insurance coverage. The requested change is not effective until confirmed by Beacon Point Insurance Group or the applicable insurance company.

Update a mortgagee or lienholder

Refinanced, or had your loan sold to another servicer. Send the new details so the policy names the correct mortgagee — the bank or finance company listed on it — and the lender stops chasing you for proof.

Drivers and vehicles

Who is driving, and what they are driving.

Add or remove a vehicle

Buying, selling or trading. Send the year, make, model and VIN, plus the date it changes hands. If you are at a dealership right now, call the office instead — that is faster than a form.

Before you submit:

Do not assume coverage has been added. Coverage is not confirmed until Beacon Point Insurance Group or the applicable insurer provides confirmation.

Add or remove a driver

A teen with a new license, a spouse, a roommate, or someone who has moved out. Send their name, date of birth and license number, and the date it should take effect.

Before you submit:

Do not assume coverage has been added. Coverage is not confirmed until Beacon Point Insurance Group or the applicable insurer provides confirmation.

Documents and proof

Copies of what you already have. Nothing in this group changes a policy.

Request an ID card

Auto ID cards for the glovebox or your phone. Most insurance companies can issue a digital card the same day.

Request a certificate of insurance

A certificate of insurance is the one-page proof a general contractor, landlord or client asks for before you start work. Tell us who needs it and what their contract asks for.

Access your policy documents

Declarations pages, endorsements and the policy itself. The declarations page is the summary sheet listing your coverages, limits and deductibles.

Billing and claims

Payments and due dates, and a claim that has happened or is happening now.

Billing and payment

Make a payment, check a due date, update a payment method, or ask about a bill that is not the number you expected.

Claim information

Report a claim, check where an open claim stands, or ask what your deductible means for it. If something is happening right now, call the office — a claim moves faster on the phone.

Anything else

The catch-all, for when none of the groups above quite fits.

General service request

Not sure where your question belongs. Send it in your own words. Someone at the office reads it and routes it to the right place.

Before you submit:

Submitting this request does not bind, modify, add, remove, or cancel insurance coverage. The requested change is not effective until confirmed by Beacon Point Insurance Group or the applicable insurance company.

Cancellation

Ending a policy. Read the note on this one before you send it.

Request a cancellation

Sold the property, replaced the policy, or no longer want it. Tell us the date you want coverage to end. Keep paying until you hear back — a missed payment on a policy that is still in force is a different problem.

Before you submit:

Submitting a cancellation request does not cancel coverage. Coverage remains in force until cancellation is confirmed.

Going direct to your insurance company

Billing, claims and account logins for the companies our clients most often ask about — useful outside our hours. For anything that changes your coverage, call us instead; we can see your policy and they cannot tell you what we would.

Carrier support

Something urgent?

A claim in progress, a vehicle you are collecting today, proof of insurance somebody needs before you can start work. Call the office and talk to a person.

Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm. Outside those hours, send it through the portal or email info@beaconpoint.co.

Not a client yet?

The portal above only covers policies we already service. If you are looking at what you have now, or comparing available options from the insurance companies we represent, that starts somewhere else.

Information on this website is general in nature and is not a complete description of any insurance policy or every coverage option that may be available. Coverage availability, terms, conditions, limits and exclusions vary by insurer, policy and individual circumstances. The issued insurance policy and applicable endorsements control coverage. Beacon Point Insurance Group may provide information regarding available insurance options and discuss coverage considerations based on information you provide, but customers are responsible for selecting the carrier, coverages, limits and deductibles they wish to purchase. No insurance coverage is bound, changed, or canceled through this website unless confirmed by Beacon Point Insurance Group or the applicable insurer.
